Sportball Parent & Child Camps
Our Parent & Child Camp is designed to guide parents and their children through the introductory skills of 7 different ball sports. Parents are instructed on how to correctly assist their children in learning the skills of Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball and Golf. Games and skills are taught in a fun and creative manner by using story lines to encourage participation.
Like all Sportball programs, Parent & Child Camps are non-competitive and focus on success while building confidence. Children will also learn how to socialize and interact with each other, preparing them for drop-off programs later on.
Parent & Child camps run for 1.5–3 hours each morning for one week. Each day includes one hour of sports instruction plus snack time, crafts and co-operative games or water play (at selected locations). Camps are run outdoors or indoors depending on the location and weather.
Grandparents and caregivers are also welcome to attend this camp. We recommend that the same adult attend the program each day.
